First of all, I have to say… I got this product because the packaging was just too cute!!! Who wouldn’t want a nice big lip container next to all the other skin care products?
The product comes in a cute pink lip shaped plastic container. There’s also a red lip shaped one but that’s the Lip Essence Balm. The one I got was the scrub in the pink! Once you twist the top of the container there’s another thin plastic lid that protects the products. I do like the extra lid because it helps prevent any messy leakage. I also like the fact that it is small enough to travel with!
One thing I do have a problem with is not being hygienic friendly since I would have to use my finger to grab the products. I use a small spatula or cotton swab/ Q-tip to grab the scrub. This way I don’t spread germs & bacteria back in to the jar even though I wash my hands. Actually, I use a spatula for all my skin care products that comes in a jar.
The scrub itself has a creamy texture with tiny granules to exfoliate the dead skin cells on the lips. The granules are the small little brown objects in the white cream. When gently applying the scrub on the lips, it’s gentle enough to exfoliate the dead skin cells but not so rough that it will peel your lips apart… unless you’re putting a lot more pressure then you should… then that’s a different story! There’s a slight fruity scent to it but it’s not overpowering but enough for me wanting to eat it… NOT!
After the 1-2 minutes of scrubbing, my chapped lips do feel soft & smooth. I follow up with a lip moisturizer. I don’t have the Tonymoly’s Kiss Kiss Lip Essence Balm but I use Etude House kissful lip care. I usually do it at night when I take off my lipstick or lip tint and to go sleep with a nice moist lip.
Sometimes – I even add a lip mask after the scrub! What’s a lip mask you ask?
It’s almost like a gel mask for the face or under the eye masks but this one is for the lips. So after the scrub, I put the lip mask on for 10 minutes and then lip moisturizer. Super soft, smooth & moist lips!!! I usually do this more during the winter time since my lips tend to be super-duper chappy!!!

Not hygienic friendly
I like Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub. The scrub gets the job done; it’s affordable and really cute packaging! Even though the container is small, but the product last a long time since you only need a tiny amount to scrub the lips. I do recommend trying it out, it wouldn’t hurt to have soft moist lips!!!
