BeBoua’s Review:

I’ve used this sunblock for 3 months and it made me break out. My face was oily, my pores were clogged and my face felt suffocated. I wanted to like this product because of the zinc dioxide (physical ingredient for sun block). However, they have “other” ingredients like Cyclopentasiloxane & Cyclohexasiloxane, Dimethicone, are silicone derivatives.

A lot of sunscreens have chemical ingredients because it’s cheaper and it is colorless and odorless, which makes the process of mixing it with other ingredients easier like cyclopentasiloxane. However, I prefer organic compounds like vegetable glycerin over chemical ingredients. Some ingredients are toxic and pore cloggers. The product is thick and made my face greasy throughout the day. I didn’t want to waste the product so I don’t use it on my face anymore but I use it for my neck and arms as sunblock.

Pros:

Zinc Dioxide (physical ingredient)
Contain liposome technology

Cons:

Expensive
Pore clogging ingredients

Bottom Line:

I really wanted to like this products like I other DermaQuest products but this product makes me break out. The ingredients clogged my pores and left my face greasy. This product is suited for dry skin rather than oily and combination skin. I don’t think I will repurchase this as it is expensive and it doesn’t help with my skin.
