BeBoua’s Review:

I used Derma Quest Essential Moisturizer in my skin care routine for 3 months for morning and night and didn’t really notice any skin enhancements. This product is average for me. It’s supposed to be best suited for dry and combination of skin types. However, it left my face oily for my combination type of skin. When applying the product, it’s good and hydrating but after a while it leaves my face feeling oily. The texture is creamy. The problem I have with this product is that it clogs my pores!!! After 3 months, my skin did not look any better when I wasn’t using it. I just noticed A LOT more pores and had to do a lot more scrubbing/exfoliating at night to clean it up. It is more for dry skin rather than combination skin because my T-zone was full of oil!

Smooth skin texture
Good for dry skin type
Helps hydrating

Pore-clogging ingredients

Bottom Line:

This product is expensive, it supposed to be good for oily skin but I feel it’s best for dry skin as it is creamy. The ingredients clogged my pores but it does give it moisture as it claims. However, I didn’t feel like it helped firm, soften or give my skin elasticity. Having said that, I don’t think I will repurchase this since it’s overly priced for something that only clogs my pores.  However, for those who have dry skin and if you have the extra funds, try it out. It might give you that extra boost.
